  • Another great podcast, guys!

To answer Tom’s question about tracking the TBs set loose for the COAP task, I’m not sure it’s possible without a lot of work. Although the task clearly asks the players to include the TB number, most people don’t. Rather than ask everyone to re-submit their claims with the TB # (some folks probably didn’t record it or know where to find it) we just verified the claims by their logs, trusting that everyone plays fairly. So, the bottom line is, we have no record of the numbers/codes to track. 🙁 I guess we should remove the part about bonus points for the TB with the best mileage; we have never calculated that.

    Sorry, Tom!

Oh yeah, nothing weird going on here in Freddy! 😉

  • Enjoyed this podcast as usual. Listened to it on the train home from Wellington to Paraparaumu, New Zealand. It’s a nice way for me to keep up with caching back in NB.

I don’t know if you changed recording devices, but I just wanted to mention that the audio on this podcast didn’t sound the same as it has in the previous podcasts. I had to crank the volume to 11 at times (except when Rev was speaking, then it was at -2 ;).

I enjoy this little touch of New Brunswick. Good job guys.

    • Ya the last two podcasts I have been trying out the recorder on my new tablet. Not sure what happened this time as the last one was better but I am noticing that the mic on the tablet is a lot more sensitive than the one on my iPhone. Might end up switching back.

  • I enjoyed listening to the podcast. I was particularly interested when you were talking about the hidden gems. I agree that its great to stumble on those “hidden” places but equally I love geocaching because it takes me to places that I pass by all the time and never bother to get out and enjoy. Walking on the marshes along the Petitcodiac river has provided me with hours of enjoyment. My favourite all-time, however, was the walk out to Toms Island and Beyond Toms Island. Gorgeous – and someplace that I would never go if it had not been for geocaching!
