Capturing The Bay

This program has been discontinued. Information on it is for archive purposes only.

The Capturing The Bay program was launched by Cache Up NB in the summer of 2012. This was a joint partnership between Cache Up NB, Fundy National Park, Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage, and the Fundy Trail Parkway. The idea was to try and incorporate some of the most fabulous views and scenery within southern New Brunswick in a unique geocaching program.

Geocachers are tasked with finding a total of eight geocaches spread amongst the four locations. Each geocache location features a prominent vista that showcases our beautiful province. Geocachers find each cache, but must also take a photo at each location. Like the Fundy National Park program, a passport is used to track which geocaches you have found. Once you have completed all eight caches, you can submit your passport to any of the four parks and a coin will be provided to you.

This unique program is a first in the province and the launch event proved to be very successful. Cache Up NB will continue to partner with these great parks to bring you further geocaching adventures.
