Not sure if anyone remembers me telling you guys about hosting an event in LA while I was out there for work. GC3DMV4. Had a pretty good turn out and a good time. I got an email from one of the attendees, imanxman, telling me to check out a cache listing. GC3HCVK. I got a good chuckle and smiled. Nice to see the locals being inspired.

  • I read the logs for both events. Really interesting and quite fantastic response. You seem to have had an effect on their caching community. Well done.

    We attended an event in a neighbourhood park in California last year but never would have thought of actually putting on an event. What a great idea.

    BTW we have attended events in Ottawa, Gatineau, Sherbrooke QC, Quebec City, Palo Alto CA, NS, PEI, and we are always well received by the locals. It is always great to meet cachers in other places.
