The 1st Annual Fall Foliage Tour
The 1st Annual Fall Foliage tour.
The Fall Foliage Tour is a geocaching event to bring fellow cachers together for a nice leisurely drive in the country to see some very picturesque spots and do some caching, and with the fall colors in full swing be sure to bring your cameras.
We will start in Riverview at the Sobeys on Findlay boulevard October 6th at 1:00, but everyone is encouraged to be there around 12:30. There will be some very basic instructions given out in navigational rally style, so I will have a short “rally school” to make sure everyone knows where to go. There will be approximately 30 new unpublished caches along the route to find and will be listed in the instructions that I will hand out at the start. While it is not mandatory, it will make things much easier if there are at least two people in the vehicle. We will finish at a local restaurant for supper and swap caching stories.

What date is this for?
It’s for October 6th. I wanted everyone to guess. Lol
Sorry about that. I was supposed to add that and forgot. Added it in.
Perfect, kid free it looks that weekend so hopefully can make it
What a great idea. And we plan to be home by then
Sounds like fun! Hopefully, we can make it, too!
How long it’s the drive going to be?
With the gas prices these days is diverting to account for..
I was waiting for you to ask that question…..lol
The route and instructions are all completed. There are 32 new caches to find and approximately 135 kms total driving. I just submitted the event for the finish to be held at Pizza Delight in Riverview at 5:30. There are two dirt roads along the route but are easily passable by car.
