Your Biggest Caching Raid
Not that long ago, Rev Slippery sent me and a few other cachers a link to this website. It’s a blog about a group of cachers who were attempting to do 48 states in the USA in one week. You’ve gotta be pretty dedicated to try and pull something like that off, but none the less, it turns out they did make it and have no set a precedent for others.
I can’t say I’ve done that many states in a week, but I have done a few within a few days.
What are some of your best streaks as far as most caches, most states/provinces, greatest area covered, etc?
What personal geocaching records do you hold that you find yourself pretty proud of?
Well, lets see. Biggest raid in terms of numbers: 127 in one day with a buddy of mine from University who I got into geocaching. That was a few years back, on the Kent Windfarm series. Biggest in terms of distance: 6 day drive across Canada when we moved out west in 2014, a minimum of one cache in every province from NB to AB inclusive. I think we managed around 50 in total; the trip was more about the new adventure than it was caching.
