Cache Up NB Log Books
So, I’ve never been a fan of buying log books. I don’t know… sort of a bother, when I’ve got a fully functional printer, and a few minutes.
I’ve designed this cover, using a GC log book as a template, using the Cache Up NB logo. I then insert some lined pages, staple it together, and I’ve got a log book that costs about 1 page of paper, three staples, and about 10 minutes.
We’ll be putting a few of these log books into some ready-to-hide caches that will be given out as door prizes at some of the Bye Bye Winter Weekend events April 10th and 11th in Fredericton.
I’m hoping this is okay – just trying to promote Cache Up NB. Thoughts?

We have already printed the small log sheets and cache notes offered on this website. They printed just fine.
I really like it, can we use the Groundspeak logo?
I just read over the logo useage guidelines, and it looks like it’s alright. I’ve fired off an email to be sure before we put a template up on the site. If we have to remove that logo and place the square logo instead, so be it – since I KNOW that one’s okay, since we’ve already got some with that logo up.

So, here’s a new version that’s been approved by Groundspeak. However, we can only make 300 copies before we need to ask permission again. Not sure how to work that out.
Yes, I do have lined sheets too… but it’s just as easy in your word processor to make a full page of underscores (__) and then print that out, and cut it out to fit. This cover can be scaled effectively, too.

I’m printing them (currently) at about 5 x 7.5 cm, and 7 x 9 cm – as those are the size of the containers we’re giving away for six of the door prizes for some of the events this weekend. It can scale to any necessary size, though – though, much smaller than 5 x 7.5 cm and the Etiquette section gets a bit harder to read!

One more thing… inspired by coopsquared’s efforts, I changed my own 35mm micro log sheets to include the CUNB logo and added those as well. I’ve been using these log sheets since I started caching so it only seemed natural to add the logo. They are intended to be printed double sided as the 2nd page is simply just a lined page but you can use just the first page if you wanted to.
