Life as a Mega LOG MASTER
LIFE as a Mega LOG MASTER
What seemed like eons ago I volunteer my services as the ‘logger’
AND I am very glad I did … I had the best seat in town!!
I had the pleasure of meeting every cacher and every one involved with the M3 event.
From cachers, vendors, Boy Scouts, park representatives, volunteers and even the custodian … I met and chit chatted with ALL.
My day started very early and I observed the committee members going here, doing this … all at a frantic pace as vendors etc. etc. were setting up..
At this point it dawned on me … ‘why not get all of them to log now, before it REALLY gets busy’
By the time the doors officially opened I had acquired over thirty names!
THEN the doors opened and the stairwell to the LOG filled to capacity for hours!
A committee member brought me a bottle of water and wanted to know if I needed a break …
I said I was good … this scenario played out many times through the day
About one o’clock I had more than a dozen bottles of water.
Ken of KD_Cachers and the M3 Monument builder joined me early in the day and was a HUGE help!
We recorded our last log around three thirty and the tally had us at six hundred & seventeen !!
That’s 617 smiling faces.
