M3 Venue Announced

Dial in these coordinates to find M3 on August 1st, 2015: N 46 04.990 W 064 49.392

After much deliberation, the M3 planning committee officially signed our venue contract with the Moncton Wesleyan as our venue of choice.

We talked about many different locations within the city and even on the outskirts, but ultimately it came down to both the cost of a venue, combined with it’s prime location. As a planning group, we were committed to insuring that the mega’s location would be easily accessible within the city, and from out of town. We also wanted to insure that it had a sufficient “green space” to allow for multiple outdoor activities. Although we visited several different locations, and considered many others as well, the Moncton Wesleyan met all of our criteria and the space we will be using is really ideal for our event.

We will be leveraging the main “atrium” of this facility as the main focal point for the mega. Vendors, onsite registration, information booths, education sessions and tutorials, and our learning lab will all be located within the main atrium itself, or in one of the break out rooms provided.

The plan is to leverage Centennial Park in as much capacity as we can to handle much of our outdoor activities. The park is conveniently accessible from the venue and is large enough to accommodate a very large group of people. Details on the outdoor activities will be released at a later time.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the venue, please do not hesitate to comment here, or on our Facebook page.

  • clerical work to be done here …. a zero in the wrong place takes cachers to St.George/Wheeler Blvd or to Rexton ….. BTW, Methinks, a GREAT venue

    • I punch those coords into Google Earth, and it brings me right to the venue location. Give me better coords and I’ll gladly change them here.

    • Heh, see my previous comment. I’m on the road so Google Earth is my only reference. Not my fault if it’s not right 🙂

  • my apology Zor, I did not realize that geo caching co-ords are different than google earth … I noticed the one digit missing and was just trying to give a heads up … my apology again, I can’t help you with the Rev’s antics
