And the Winners Are…..

Thanks to all who made the Bye Bye Winter Bash such a success last night! We had a great time, great food (as usual!) and the new venue worked out very well.

A very special thank you to the folks who came early to help prepare and stayed late to help clean up. It means a lot to Terry and me and it is truly appreciated. Some of those awesome people are Treehugger21, UnrulyCanuk, bth7, Scouter Rick, Smiley! and Scout Adam and Shutter13. Many others helped out as well, and also have our thanks.

We’d also like to thank Smiley! (Bella Duncan) who was a quick learner and fantastic representative for Cachemporium. She did a fabulous job manning the table and has agreed to help out again at the Mega in July. Thank you, Bella!

Now to what you’re all waiting for, the results from Come Out & Play 2012-2013:

The players who scored zero (and completed at least 20 tasks) were Morash, Coopsquared, Cachent, ranger170, mollygolly, Scout Adam, Tiger Tracker and Indynb. We put all of their names in a hat and drew Scout Adam for the prize.

To see how you did, check here: COAP Scores. The scores are sorted 3 different ways; by score, by cacher’s name and by number of claims.

Congratulations to all those who received a prize and who participated in the contest! We hope you enjoyed it.

A very special, last-but-not-least thank you to Matt, Chris and Ken from Cache Up NB. Huge, HUGE kudos for creating an easier way for both the players and me to keep track of all this! It is so very much appreciated!! Thank you. 🙂

milosheart

We're milosheart, also known as Gwen & Terry LeBlanc. We're from Fredericton and have been involved with geocaching since March 2008. When we started caching we each had our own accounts/names. He was Frogger57 and I was milosheart. milo is a nickname of Terry's (from a song he messed up the words to) and, well, I'm his heart (we're still on our honeymoon, 6 yrs on). He logged his first 19 caches then gave up. He loves to go caching, loves the driving, travelling, meeting fellow cachers, searching and finding but could care less about the logging, planning, numbers, etc. He doesn't know how to use the GPS and has no desire to learn, doesn't have a clue what GSAK is, nor care. I love him more for just going with me, blindly sometimes! LOL So we just continued on using my original account and became team milosheart. We cache here in Freddy Beach, Moncton (Terry's hometown), Saint John (my sister and fellow cacher, eebee, lives there) and just about anywhere else we go. Yes, we are addicted. Happily.

  • Thanks Gwen for the great contest. Sorry I missed the event, but I”m enjoying the 95 degree temperature in Phoenix. Great winter of caching
