Come Out & Play 2012 Geocoin Preorders
I am now taking preorders for the 2012 edition of the Winter Challenge geocoin! The coin is shaped like a snowflake, with a polar bear and igloo on the front and details on the back. We will be producing 100 of these coins, unless the interest is there to produce 150 – but we won’t be making any more than that!
Pricing details: The geocoins are $10 each, and will be available for distribution at the Bye Bye Winter Bash. If you would rather have me ship the coins to you, there will be an additional $3 charge for up to 5 coins anywhere in Canada, or $4 to anywhere in the US. I accept payment in cash or cheque (if you’re in the Fredericton region, or you’d like to drop a cheque in the mail), or through paypal – though due to paypal’s fees, we need to add 50 cents for the first coin, and 30 cents per additional coin.
I’m keeping a copy of the official preorder list on the Fredericton Region Geocachers Facebook page, which I’ve linked to here.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me! If you would like to place an order, please leave a comment below (or contact me directly through my geocaching.com profile if you’d prefer). I’m tracking orders through caching name and real name, so I don’t get confused. Note that you DON’T have to pay for the coins immediately, but I’d rather receive payment sooner rather than later.
Note that I’m still tweaking the text on the reverse of the coin, but that is pretty much what the coin will look like.
