Fundy H2O triathlon volunteers
While down in Fundy National Park yesterday the Fundy H2O triathlon came up and the fact that they are looking for volunteers to work some of the stations for this race. The race is being held on Sept 8th and I thought we could get a group together and reserve the same shelters as we use for the Fundy event this month. The park would provide us with free lodging for 1-2 nights (your choice just the night before or the night after as well) and supper on the day of the race. All we would need to do is man a station of some sort, be it a check in point, water or to assist the racers in transition it would not be difficult or all that long. If there is enough interest I will publish a campfire type event for the night before the race for those interested. I will let the park know if we get a group together and find out when she needs the names.
Please indicate below if you are interested, it is not a 100% commitment thing yet but if you want to make sure you have a free site and meal it will have to be.

We are going to be in that area that weekend and would love to help. There are two of us and we’ll be traveling with a trailer. It sounds like fun.
This is getting close – do you know if we’re needed to help? Perhaps we can chat this weekend after the Race.
We are not doing anything as a group, if you contact the organizers they will gladly discuss you volunteering for them with the same offer for a campsite and stuff.
