M3 TB Race
In case you didn’t know, our mega next year is actually hosting a travel bug race. This race is intended to get bugs released out into the wild and see who can make it back to the mega or as close to the mega as possible. All trackable items must be new with no mileage but must be activated. All items collected will be brought to Albuquerque, New Mexico during the week of January 19th, 2015, and released at an event being held there. The bugs will then work their way back to Moncton.
In order to get your bug into the race, you need to get it delivered to the folks from M3 no later than December 1st. How can you do that? Well, we’ve got a few options available:
- You can mail the trackable directly to us (see the address on the link for the contest)
- You can drop it off at any of our participating partner events
- Ask the host of your local breakfast if they can help you out
- You can attend our bug kickoff event in Sussex in late November
- GC5ETX5
- Contact Perks19 and see if he will be in your area and drop the bug off to him
- Contact us directly through commenting on this post or through our Facebook page.

So if you don’t have a new bug or coin yet, snag yourself one as soon as you can (like say at the Falls Brook Centre kickoff event this Saturday) and get it to us. You could be the winner of our TB race.
If it is possible to have Cachemporium at he Sussex event to sell us last minute travel bugs that would be wonderful 😀
Cachemporium would love to be there, as long as the vendor allows it and has space for us. And if I’m not working. 🙂
This is actually a really good idea.
Gwen, if you guys can’t make it to the event, maybe we can coordinate to get some trackable tags from you and we can re-sell them at the event so folks can launch them from there.
Checked with Smitty’s, they have no problem with us (Cachemporium) being/selling there so we’ll see you on Nov 23rd!
