March of NB 104th – Geotrail Launched Today
Fifty folks gathered at McGinnis Landing in Freddy Beach to be a part of history as the Geotrail: March of NB 104th was officially launched. 22 caches were published at noon & the hunt is on to find 15 to qualify for the Geocoin. MLA Brian MacDonald Chair of PNB War of 1812 Commemorative Committee was on hand & paid tribute to the partnership of the caching community & other agencies to make this an exciting venture for our province. Cachers came from Sussex, Saint John, and Woodstock to be part of the Launch & sign the log book that will become part of the NB Museum’s War of 1812 exhibit. Bets are on as to how long before the supply of 200 is handed out!
Awesome, series. I don’t think the coins will last long. I plan to pick up mine today… It would be sweet if there were a bunch available for people attending the mega next summer….
K57 picked up his March of NB 104th Geocoin this morning!
Looking for a volunteer to place three or four caches between Cambridge Narrows & Moncton.
Is there a way to deliver my Passport in person? I completed my 15th find this afternoon.
Yes! Go to the Fredericton Region Museum at 517 Queen Street starting 7 Jan 13, as it is closed for Christmas Break! Ruth will be happy to look after you!
Is there a way to receive the codes to these caches?
There is a bookmark list of all the caches. You should be able to access it here: http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=8838d3aa-fc57-44cf-ae3d-57867ad3dc35
Thank you very much 4CeasonS
