Nemodidi’s adventure video: Roaming with the bisons

The Cookers just made a series of 20 micro geocaches called “Where the bisons roam”.  So this morning I headed out with my geocaching companion Hallux the Beagle for what ended up a nice Bison Safari. My wife was working so she did not come this time. I mean one of us two needs to pay the bills, right?

I first found a whole lot of bisons but wimped out and did not look for the log sheet. I continued on the trail to find some easier ones, but then ended up logging only two and had to turn around as the beagle starts to get old now (10yrs old) and he has a very bad knee.  So, here is a video of my adventure, Enjoy.

By the way, this will be my 3rd video on here. I want to see yours now!

Nemo, you did everything right except the link, use the embed code from youtube, not the url or basic link and create the post in HTML.

  • Actually apparently if you post the full Youtube link, without any extra code at the end of the video ID, WordPress auto-embeds the video for you. I haven’t done it often but I did it once or twice and it worked great

  • Glad to see that the dog is taking you for a walk. You know Nemo, real men talk baby talk to their K-9 buddies. I do it all the time. Most men would never admit to it let alone post it on You Tube. Way to go!

  • I loved this other video of your on you tube.

How to spend 5 minutes looking for a cache, walking in deep snow, and using some choice French language, only to realize that there is supposed to be a guard rail at that location, but it is buried in the snow

I thought I was going to see a few large squirrels as I have a big gray one trying to eat out of mine. Do you have any problems with birds crashing into your windows with the feeder being so close?

“A bison tube is a small, metal, water-tight cylindrical container that can be used for micro-caches. These containers are usually small enough to fit on a keychain, and were originally designed to hold pills. The name is derived from the company which manufactures most of these types of tubes, Bison Designs.”
