*Another Ice Walk has come and gone. We hope you had a great time. We know that a lot of caching was done because in the past few days we received 1600 emails reporting finds on our caches on the islands and on our series in the area. Other local cache hiders certainly must have also received a high number.
*We wish to thank all the cachers who participated or who just dropped in to say hello. Your continued support makes it all worthwhile.
*A big thank you to châtelaine and HerrMinnz who were responsible for registration, door prize draws, distribution of the funds raised and helped with a number of other functions.
*Thank you to everyone who brought food for the hungry tired cachers. We had a large selection of desserts, hot dishes, salads, veggies, etc. This year there was still hot food available for those who arrived late.
*For the many who asked, the beautiful GPS cake was made by SPIRIE. There are a number of photos in the gallery on the cache page.
*Speaking of photos, if you have photos taken at the hall or on the islands,etc, you could post them on the event cache page so we can see them in the gallery. There is a rumour that cableguy may be making a slideshow again this year of everyone’s photos and posting it on youtube.
