Found cache and was almost back to the car, when I heard a car horn blow and a van pulled in the driveway right in front of me. I thought I was in trouble for parking in the Church parking lot or it was another geocacher. The passenger window comes down and she asked me if I had change for a $100.00 bill. Of course all I had was pocket change. She then handed me the $100.00 bill and said to take my wife out to supper. The first thing I thought was, it would be counterfeit. I said no and of course she insisted that I take it. So I took it and then had to help her back out on the road. It was the least I could do for her. I was stunned. Forgot to get her license number. By the way I had it cheched at local store and they said it was real. Weird eh?

A true story, and definately the wierdest thing ever encountered by Mr. CD on a caching day. Ms. CD is waiting for that dinner.

Hmm, married with one adult daughter, 1 son in law, 2 granddaughters and 2 cats. We enjoy spending time at the beach, motorcycling and travelling , of course, we fit caching in when ever we can. One of us is a Maintenance Supervisor at the Hopewell Rocks and one of us is a Foot Care Nurse.
