Atlantic BattleCache Challenge

Atlantic BattleCache is a geocaching challenge being run in Atlantic Canada from December 1st 2012 to February 28th 2013.  If you live in one of the four Atlantic provinces, you are eligible to participate.

The object of the challenge is to find enough geocaches to cover as much of the game board as possible in the hope that you can find and sink the hidden ships.

How does a geocache become a shot on the board?  Just take the GC code of the cache and use the letters and numbers to make a valid grid coordinate.  You may use finds on any physical geocache or event cache.  You can also use physical caches that you hide during the challenge period.

There will be an event on March 9, 2013 in the Halifax area where the Challenge winners will be announced.  You do not have to attend to win a prize.
