Ever wonder?

Ever drive down the road and see a car parked near a cache or trail leading to a cache and wonder if a cacher is visiting the site? Then wait till you get home and check the logs to see if you were right? As I’ve been finding more and more I’ve seen this more often and there’s a little cheer of triumph when I see that I was right.

  • Yep I have wondered. But it works the other way too. Every time I see a car parked at the side of the road, I wonder if there is a cache in the woods. Or maybe somebody is hiding one.

Did you ever ask somebody in a cemetey if they were looking for the geocache and get strange looks. And did you ever wonder why there was a crowd there.

Did you ever go by a mailbox and wonder about a cache? and trynot to let your wife see you admiring that mailbox

  • I spotted someone running across the road in Halifax 2 weeks ago with what looked to be a GPS, and thought there must be a FTF on the go…. I was partly right. On getting back to the inlaws, searched the area I spotted the car on GC.com and sure enough, a log for a cache done at “lunch time”, but it wasn’t for an FTF.

Ever drive by a spot where you found one, and wonder if it’s still there?? Or have your daughter say that she needs to be dropped of at a certain address, and then seeing the blank look on your face by cache XYZ and you know right where she means.

Ever go caching with friends and throughout the entire day upon nearing a cache say “You got this one?”, and then need to explain if you mean already found or loaded in your GPS ?
Guess you had to be there…..

    • Seems like CD must have weird friends.

And what do you do if both answers apply?

Sure have seen that over and over again. If you see a blue Saturn car with a Canadian Beaver Cacher symbol on the side. **** STOP **** it’s me.
