My Next Event

Hi everybody,

I’m going to get back to what I used to do years ago, and post a few breakfast events. I want to do fun events that a lot of people will enjoy, so I am asking you all:

Where would you like to have breakfast?

Cheers used to be awesome, and Cherry’s was fun (but it’s closed), Saxby’s was OK (it’s closed too)… I’m thinking the Salisbury Big Stop maybe…. Is family-friendly dining (for kiddies) important? Should we eat in a pub? Give me some opinions, and I’ll pick one….

  • Big stop works for me. We like to bring our little one to breakfast and I’ve heard you can’t at Cheers. I like the breakfast at Salisbury Big Stop. Fresh is good, the old Breakfast event seems to fade out, so I am in for it! YOu can perhaps change the location from time to time, always the same spot can get borring. Just my 2 cents.

  • Are you hoping that they will let you have one of the rooms at the Salisbry Big Stop?

I seem to recall that the big stop is very busy for breakfast in summer and also on Sundays, but havent been for a while.

I think children are allowed for meals in Pubs but not certain,

Recently we have been having breakfast at Casino but that definitely does not allow anyone undeer age.

    • I wonder if the Ultra Lounge at the Casino would allow children? It’s located half way up the light house and you would not need to go any farther that the first set of doors in the entrance. I have no idea if it would make a good venue or even if they would serve anything but it might be something to look into…

Also, the Hotel at the Casino has a restaurant and that might be a good location. It’s on the second floor pass the Chocolatier if coming from the Casino. Would make for a quiet venue as everyone goes to the restaurant at the Casino…

  • I was hoping to reserve tables at the Big Stop, but you’re right Pa, they are busy in the warm weather…I will call them. I’ll also contact Cheers and see if they allow kids in the morning.

  • I see the event has been posted for Big Stop on Sunday August 14.

Could be a good choice for a date, as it is the day after the Race for Cache event

Not sure if we can make it as the boys will still be here and we dont know what we will have planned.
