The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins
Going through other cachers profiles, I chanced on an archived cache called Victor, Victoria where in cachers could choose which of the two characters they wanted to be & dress accordingly!! The photos were a hoot, & I was sad that it had to be archived. There is enough stress in our lives, and so a little levity is needed.
Hence “The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins” by Dr Seuss!! Written in 1938 by the Cat in the Hat himself, it is a lesser known story. When I read about this story title, I jumped for joy, because now I had a purpose for all the old hats I’ve been hoarding for years! So this is a cache in a 60 litre container w/over 25 hats for the young & the young at heart!
It should be published shortly, & I hope that you all embrace it & make the pilgrimage to the Village of New Maryland to try on a hat!! And don’t be shy about posting a photo, you can look in the mirror to check yourself out before the snap!!
