  • There are many wonderful caches in the area and this could be a great opportunity to team up with some geocaching buddies and head out on the trails.

This is by no means an organized hike… What you chose is up to you. Simply show up between 9 and 11 and sign the log book to prove you have attended this event.

However, as I can`t post anything on my listing about anything other than sitting around and enjoying each others company I thought this might be a good place.

I`m looking to hike the Adair’s Nature Trail after the breakfast. Ma&Pa have hid caches along the way and this trail starts near the Lodge. If any one would like to join me you are more then welcomed.

The Catamount Trail is also accessible from the Lodge. Many sections are in disrepair but for the hardy it’s a great way to add to ones totals. For those of you who like more of a challenge the Fundy Footpath may be more to your liking. There are many amazing places along the trail and you can take a look at them here http://fundy-biosphere.ca/en/experience/amazing_places/

Many may also chose to head down to Martin Head, Walton Glen gorge/falls or venture into the Eye of the Needle. Unbelievably awesome locations that are sure to take your breath away.

Some may also want to head back into Waterford for some Covered Bridges, Caves and Waterfalls. Another popular option is to head into Parlee Brook Natural Amphitheater or to summit Friar’s Nose for a great view.

If hiking is not your thing there are many ATV trails to ride and or back roads to travel. There are many Geocaches accessible by vehicle and it all connects from Adair’s Wilderness Lodge. ATV tours are also available in the area…

If you can make it and plan on going caching in the area it might be nice to have everyone post where they plan on heading for the day so others would know who to join up with…

  • I am working and I can’t get the day off as everyone at work seems to be going to see U2 that day. If I was off I would be there.

  • Another option in the area is the series caches by Ajlong along the shepody road. The road is in good shape. Most caches are near the road and others require a short walk on old roads or trails.

Please bring repair stuff in case our adairs trail caches need help
