Challenge Caches
While preparing for some of our trips we have encountered a number of challenge caches and we even were able to claim one in Ottawa.
So we decided to place a few in this area. So far we have placed 5 of them. We attempted to place them in muggle free areas.
Here is the list of the Challenges. We hope you enjoy them.
*100 day Streak (Barachois)
*100 caches in a Day (Shediac)
*100 puzzles in a year or 400 total puzzles (Irishtown)
*250 micros and micros equal 25% of caches (Grande Digue)
*Alphanumeric. Need 36 Caches starting with A to Z and 0 to 9 (Scoudouc)
(The last one was hidden today and was approved within an hour of submitting the cache page. Very impressive.)

A to Z on the Saddleback baby!!!
I was actually thinking of placing some of those around Fredericton, too. Like a fizzy challenge, for example.
We have only found two challenge caches (that I recall): A 10 Years of Geocaching challenge near Sussex (http://coord.info/GC29ZKB) where you had to have found at least 1 cache placed in each year from 2000 through 2010, and an Alphanumeric Challenge in Coles Island (http://coord.info/GC1H6KW) similar to the one you described.
Strange… I’ve never seen “Your comment is awaiting moderation” here before…
If your post has 2 or more links in it, it has to be moderated.
Woot! I qualify for all of your challenge caches, except the 100 day caching streak…which I am working on!! Fun challenge caches, Ma&Pa, thanks for putting them out!
I found that my NB Backroad Challenge was a little to difficult, so I adjusted it. You now only have to find a cache in each county of NB to qualify.
Now I need to check to see what counties I am missing. I don’t even know what they all are..lol
Ok I checked and I am missing 2 but I am sure I got a couple in St. Stephen but I guess not.
I picked up your puzzle cache today. I think I qualify for all except the 100 days in a row. I don’t think that I could ever achieve that. I will start compiling my A-Z and 0-9 caches. Great idea for puzzle caches. You could also have one for having at least two or three mental breakdowns while doing Micro Logic puzzles. 🙂
